OUR SERVICES

When you contact Neilson Immigration Consultants, you are contacting a team of highly specialised and independent Immigration Consultants. Working as a team, allows us to offer a full range of services that suits your immigration needs.

The Immigration Policy in New Zealand is a complex one. There are many and different categories where your background and experience may be of great advantage, enabling you to lodge an application.

These are some of the most common services we offer:

1. Immigration Assessment:

We provide a client with a questionaire. Once it has been filled out and returned to us, we evaluate your chances of migrating to New Zealand under one of the categories available.

A full report is provided when the person requests it. Please note that this report will attract a fee.

In some instances, if the background and experience does not seen to be of advantage, we may make some recommendations to enhance their opportunities, for example, qulaification recognition, further studies, etc.

2. Power of Representation:

This is when the client grants us authority to represent them before the Immigration New Zealand (INZ). In such a case, we deal directly with the Immigration Service on behalf of the Client.
You may grant us Power of Representation at any time during your immigration process, even if you have already lodged your application and for any kind of application, such as:

* Residence Visas & Permits
* Work Visas & Permits
* Business/Investor Visas & Permits
* Visitor Visas & Permits
* Family Visas & Permits
* Special Category Visas & Permits
* Student Visas & Permits

3. Responses to Potential Prejudicial Information:

This is when a person has an ongoing application with the Immigration Service and the Immigration Officer in charge of the case, sends out a letter to the client with an opportunity to comment to information that may affect the outcome of the application.

This is a critical moment for any application, as the response given will influence the decision made by the Visa Officer.

This has to be answered in the best way possible. With poor or not consistent knowledge of the Immigration Policy and Process, the chances of having your application declined are high.

If you have lodged your application without professional assistance, it is very possible that you may experience this request.

We can answer to this Potential Prejudicial Information for you. You will have to grant us Power of Representation.

4. Documents Verification/ File Organisation:

If you are about to lodge an application and want to make sure you have all relevant documents, let our team to do the final check for you.

By sending a correct and orderly application, with everything needed, you are saving time and are avoiding unnecessary delays and disapointments.
You do not need to grant us Power of Representation if you just want one of us to verify and organise your file.

5. Appeals:

When an Application for Residence has been declined, it does not mean that all doors are closed. In many cases, Immigration Officers are wrong in their decisions. This could be your case.

The Appeal Process is very narrow and there are only two grounds for appeal. If you do not know them or you do not understand them, your Appeal will not proceed.

We can file an Appeal on your behalf. You will need to grant us Power of Representation.

If you are a client of ours from the start, then you will have access to all of our range of services.
